Urban Green 2009

Hi everyone, Elsewhere is open again for the season.  We are excited about working on some new projects for our community garden and we are ready to get started.  We are still working on some projects from last year like getting our rainwater drip irrigation system in efficient working order and getting the bottle wall permanently sealed.  New projects in the works right now include; a bamboo arbor, birdbath, hanging baskets, herb and flower beds, container planting, planter boxes, potting bench and work space, lounge area and community meeting table.

We meet Saturdays from 1:00pm to around 5:00pm. We can also use some donated items. We are looking for seeds, seedlings (herbs, flowers and vegetables), soil, mulch, empty 2 liter bottles, and cereal box style cardboard. If you are interested in volunteering please email us at urbangreen@elsewhereelsewhere.org to sign up to get on the volunteer list, or just stop into the museum.
